paloma is a casual art and literary magazine based on Substack. We aim to create a low-stakes, easy process for writers and artists of all experience levels to share their work.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are open to any format and genre that is suitable for a Substack post (ex: interviews, fiction, essays, reviews, poems, visual art, recipes, collages, videos, music, etc.)
Word count: up to 1,000 for non-fiction; up to 3,500 for fiction.

Please email submissions to palomathemagazine@gmail.com with the work attached and the category/genre in the subject line, along with the following information:
Your name (or anonymous)
Title of piece(s)
Category/genre (ex: non-fiction, fiction, poetry, etc.)
Optional: website or social media handle (i.e. Substack, Instagram, Twitter)
Confirmation that the piece is your own work, and that you will inform us if it is published elsewhere
We are a volunteer-led team that strives to provide responses on a monthly basis, a few days prior to publication. Please keep us updated if your work is published elsewhere in the meantime. Rights are your own upon publication.
